Mathematics Day

Today was mathematics day in school, Seren had to find the heaviest potato and Jon had to find the longest carrot. Jon won a prize for having the longest carrot in the whole of Reception.

St David's 2 Opened Today

Well, it doesn't happen often but Andy's day off corresponded with the opening of St David's 2 Shopping Centre in Cardiff. So a day trip to Cardiff was in order, Seren and Jonathan were in School so it was only Thomas that came with us. Unsurprisingly the first stop was Starbucks for coffee and I enjoyed a skinny lemon and poppy seed muffin and Andy and Tom shared a giant cookie. This was probably the highlight of the day as most of the shops weren't open yet. I was really looking forward to seeing Jamie's Italian shop but it was still boarded up! The L'occitane shop was great, a treasure trove of treats and 15% off meant I could spoil myself!

Happy Birthday Thomas!

This weekend we celebrated Thomas' birthday. On Sunday we met up with Mamgu, Dadcu, Becky and John in Cardiff Bay and then went for a lovely meal in the Harvester resteraunt. Here are some pics from his special day:

Jon's First Day in School

It was Jon's first day in school today. He was really excited about it and couldn't wait to go. When we arrived he just marched straight into the classroom and didn't look back. Here are some pics of him and Seren all ready this morning.

Wow! Got Some Scrapbooking done!

Don't usually bother with online clasees but this month I decided to follow Shimelle's Go To Press on the Two Peas web site. Have to say it's been great! Usually I just get a couple of hours a week for crafting but yesterday and today I manages to spend some time doing 5 layouts!Only another 3 weeks to go!

After waiting all year, Seren finally got to take Wall-E home for a night! Look at how haapy it's made her!

Sports Day

Unfortunately because of the weather, Jon's sport day got cancelled, but this afternoon Seren got to do her's.

School Assembly

Seren had her school assembly today, here is a short highlight for you to enjoy.

Logos Hope - we finally made it!

On the last day that the ship was at Cardiff we managed to make it down to Cardiff Bay to see the Logos Hope, the new travelling bookshop for OM. It was a beautiful ship and we were amazed by how many people were visiting it as well.

We made it too the beach!

Yesterday we had a lovely afternoon playing on the south beach in Tenby.

Just arrived at kiln park for a weekend away. Decided that this is the best caravan ever because of the size of the tv!

Happy Birthday Jonathan!

This weekend we have been celebrating Jon's fourth birthday. Yesterday we had a small party at the house for a few close friends from Meithrin and our neighbours Jacob and Tegan. Today, Mamgu, Dadcu and A. Becky came up for another party and we visted Tredegar Park.

"Old Macdonalds" was the lunchtime treat.
