Summer holidays mini book

Last year I got these great photos of S playing in the sea. After fining the Cosmo Cricket Snorkle set on offer in Bridgend I couldn't wait to get started on a mini book. I found some old cardboard packaging that I could cut down and then made the book up of pics of the kids on Tenby south beach.

Wow! Got Some Scrapbooking done!

Don't usually bother with online clasees but this month I decided to follow Shimelle's Go To Press on the Two Peas web site. Have to say it's been great! Usually I just get a couple of hours a week for crafting but yesterday and today I manages to spend some time doing 5 layouts!Only another 3 weeks to go!

First Digital Layout

Finally had go at doing a digital layout, this is just like scrapbooking with paper but you do it all on the computer in a graphics package like Photoshop. I used a free digital kit from the Two Peas website.

Cyber Crop Mystery Kit

This weekend is the cyber crop on the UKScrappers web site. It's a great weekend where they post lots of classes and techniques and you get to learn a lot! Unfortunatley due to short notice on the dates I'm not able to get any time off work to take part this week and Seren has her show with the Burleigh Academy on so I decided to take part in the Mystery Kit competition. This is where you buy a scrapbook kit and make something from it using just the kit contents. Here's my entry:

Finally finished!

Here's the second layout i started at the crop almost 2 weeks ago. Finally finished it tonight. These are my favourite photos from the day at Roath Park because they show the boys trying to be independent.

Catching up with Scrap your Day

Spent some me time tonight trying to catch up with Scrap your Day. I'm so behind with it! Tonight I finally did my page for June (see above). I also realised that i'd got my July pics printed out wrong so i'm going to have to sort them out again tomorrow. I'm determined to get July and August by the 25th September - that gives me 10 days.

Here is my page from one of the classes at the crop in Bassaleg today. Those Scrapbus girls are awesome and really come up with some great ideas and excellent intstructions, thanks girls! I've just got the title to finish off on the other one and then I'll post it.

Scrap your day

I signed up for the Shimelle Scrap Your Day class at the UKScrappers cyber crop in April. We have to take photos of everyday things on the 25th day of every month for a year and scrapbook them as well. Managed to do the first month successfully but I have been a bit slower on May's pages and finally finished them today. So here they are the first 2 months of Scrap your Day.

These have been some of the hardest pictures to scrapbook as it is just doing ordinary things and not the really exciting stuff.

Looking forward to the 25th of June so I can take photos again.

Last Night's Scrapping

I hadn't intended to Scrap last night but I got out of work an hour early so I took advantage of the extra time and did 2.5 layouts from my new DCWV RockStar and All Dressed Up papers. The first one is a double layout of me and the kids at Amroth Beach last summer.

Here is the other one that I finished it's of Seren and her school friend all dressed up as disney princesses. Will post the third one when I finished it.

Another Carolinez Craftz LO

Did these about a month ago and forgot to put them up. The first is another layout from a Carolinez Craftz Weekly Kit (22 March) with Seren on Llansteffan Beach last summer. She was dressed head to toe in Pink and looking really cute. I also did a this layout inspired by a UKScrappers Cyber Crop class shown below:
