Children in Need

Children in Need was wear something spotty so this was another opportunity to get the CIN t shirts out. Tom also took part in a Froggy Jump at playgroup and made a lovely foggy hat.

Half term fun

After a busy week we were all pleased to see half term arrive. A trip down to Carmarthen was on the agenda to see more of Ashton and the rest of the family. Click on the pic below to see highlights.

Halloween fun

Almost all of us had fun yesterday at Louise's Halloween party. I couldn't make all of it because i had my level 2 Teaching Aquatics course. After a great party we came home to light the pumpkin and some little pumpkin candles. Here's our pumpkin - Jon designed him based on Spookly the square Pumpkin.

Tom's birthday

This week it was Tom's birthday and we had some visitors come to celebrate. Mamgu and Dadcu brought up A. Becky and Ashton to have a birthday dinner. Tom really enjoyed himself and had loads of great presents. Click on the picture below to see more pics.

Summer holidays mini book

Last year I got these great photos of S playing in the sea. After fining the Cosmo Cricket Snorkle set on offer in Bridgend I couldn't wait to get started on a mini book. I found some old cardboard packaging that I could cut down and then made the book up of pics of the kids on Tenby south beach.

Night time fun

Seren and Jon are waiting for the Summer High 2 show. They've got a fanta frozen to enjoy. Tom is shatted so he's gone back to the caravan with Andy. Over the last few days we've been swimming 2ce, to the beach and today we've been to all 3 of the funstars events. The morning wildlife walk, the afternoon character olympics (Seren and Andy won a race) and the evening entertainment. Looking forward to some sleep!

We arrived at Devon Cliffs about 3.30pm on Monday and promptly went to get the caravan keys. We checked and we were exactly where i wanted to be. Half way between the beach the entertainment venue. The picture shows the view from the living soon in the caravan.

Tom came home from Meithrin today with Alun yr Arth he has him for 2 nights so lots of time to play.

New Birthday Cards

There's been a scrapbook party happening on Shimelle's web site this weekend - see shimelle.com.

One challenge was to make a card or a scrapbook page using stamps, here are 2 cards that I have made.  Birthday Girl uses a swirl stamp from here stamped faintly in the background using a Versamark pad. Birthday Boy uses a circle DUDE stamp from Technique Tuesday.

It was Thomas's turn to bring home Alun yr Arth today. He is so happy having seen Jon with Llyr y Llew he's often asked when it would be his turn. Thomas lad him for the whole weekend.

Valentine pressie

I have loved the House of 3 downloads for ages now so for valentine's day I bought one to make for A. This one was really easy to make as everything came on pdf's so all I had to do was print them and then cut out all the relevant sections and I was ready to make my mini book. Full instructions on how to make the book can be found here on Heidi's blog. I used some really old pre kids photos of us.
